UR1's logistics team operates a full warehouse and distribution facility at our head office in Noble Park, Victoria. Efficient and high tech operation ensures accurate and timely delivery of all orders to customers Australia wide and overseas.
Technology
UR1 has been a leader for many years in the use of computers and hand held devices (PDAs) for taking orders. This has given it and its customers a competitive advantage.
The Information Technology team at UR1 has developed the use of miniature notebooks and PDAs to enable its sales team to take orders "live" in the field. These full-function units enable the sales team to enquire and place orders while at stores.
UR1 was the first company in Australia to partner with Optus (Australia's second largest telecommunication company) to facilitate transmission of information immediately. This has enabled our customers to receive faster deliveries of their orders.
